Three-year-old Preschool Extended Day Classes
Enrichment classes are offered each day from 11:30am-1pm to supplement our three-year-old program and run per semester.

Monday: Yoga and More
C is for Cobra. D is for Downward Dog. E is for Elephant Pose! Yoga is all about connecting the body and the mind! We will get our bodies moving with active songs, processed art, learning games, and creative play all designed to strengthen the core muscles, enhance motor planning skills, and help children recognize the mind-body connection. Through yoga experiences, your child will learn academics as well as relaxation, breathing, and mindfulness! Namaste!
Tuesday: Team Steam
Calling all inventors, creators, builders and designers! Come join us as we work together to build awesome creations of our own design! Our builders will engage in the full range of STEAM; science, technology, engineering, arts and math. Through collaboration and experimentation, our young stem-gineers will be developing many important skills including communication, problem solving, reasoning, and team work. Our builders will have a blast as they use Legos, recyclable materials and many other interesting items to bring their visions to life.
Wednesday: Story Stretchers
S-T-R-E-T-C-H your child’s reading skills through fun activities that focus on a different book each week. This class is specifically designed to reinforce important reading skills including comprehension, letter recognition, story-structure, and of course, the joy of reading! Books will include Caldecott and Newberry winners, as well as many children’s classics. Story extensions include science, art, cooking and more – stretching each story to new heights. Children will have the opportunity to author and illustrate their very own books!
Thursday: Amazing Artists
In this hands-on, interactive class, children will discover how to be their own amazing artists! In their exploration of the multi-media world of art, they will learn about famous artists and various techniques used to create masterpieces and express their ideas through the arts. Your children will use a wide array of materials in their artistic journeys as they experiment with color, lines, shape, form, and textures to create two and three-dimensional works of art.
